27 Brockenhurst Street closure

Good afternoon,

Apologies if you were woken up this morning to some banging and drilling!

At 9am, Burnley NPT, alongside Burnley council, closed down 27 Brockenhurst Street.

We had received reports from residents that the property was being used for squatting. The property was being occupied by people who had no right to be there, and were bringing undesirables in to the area.

The windows and doors have been secured by boards and metal sheeting.

If you see anyone making attempts to get in to the property (i.e. ripping the boards off), please ring 999 immediately.
